Care Instructions

To keep your handmade chunky chenille knit items-such as blankets, scarves, hats, and plushies-looking and feeling their best, please follow these care guidelines:

• Place items in a garment bag and wash in cold water with mild detergent on the delicate or hand wash cycle. Avoid using bleach or fabric softeners. Vinegar can be added to the rinse cycle to keep your item(s) soft and plush.

• If hand washing - Do Not Wring: Carefully squeeze out excess water without twisting or wringing to maintain the shape and texture.

• Lay Flat to Dry: Reshape your item and lay it flat on a clean, dry towel to air dry. Avoid hanging, as this may stretch the yarn. Items can be placed in the dryer on delicate heat to partially dry.

• Avoid Heat: Do not tumble dry on any cycle higher than delicate, iron, or expose to direct heat, as this can damage the chenille fibers.

• Spot Clean: For small stains, spot clean gently with a damp cloth and mild soap.
